Dear Grace Community Family,

We felt it was important to personally share with you all in response to the coronavirus what Grace Community Church is doing and how to live out our faith in this unprecedented season.

First of all, Apostle Paul speaks in 2 Timothy 1 that “God gave us a spirit not of fear, but of power and love and self-control. Our LORD Jesus defeated fear and death and He is Risen and He is Coming! Thus, let’s live as people of faith during all seasons.

In light of the recent development of the coronavirus situation, our Pastors, Deacons, and Council members have decided in the best interest of public health that we will not be holding any fellowships, Bible studies, Life Groups, Sunday School classes, and we will move our church services online starting March 16th and will resume on Friday, April 10 for our Good Friday Service, unless otherwise noted. Please visit our church website gracecommunitympk.org weekly as we will be posting pre-recorded sermons, devotions, praise songs for you to worship and follow along.

Regarding tomorrow’s service, our leaders still plan to be present and hold a special combined information session at 11:00 am in our sanctuary tomorrow in which we will do the following:

We will share with the congregation in more detail regarding our plans over the next few weeks.
Allow time for our congregation to ask questions and express their concerns, and we will address them to the best of our ability.
Lastly, we will spend time together praying for God’s intervention in the growing impacts of the virus spread.
We want to let our members and the community know that we love you, we are still here for you, we continue to pray for you, and together let’s stand together in faith as a church.

Please know that your church leaders are still available every day by phone, email, and online to chat and pray together during this difficult time.

Let us continue to be in prayer for our church, community, and the nation.

On Behalf of all your Pastors, Deacons, and Council Leaders,

Pastor David and Pastor Nick
