- Where in serving Christ do you feel the most weak or “not gifted enough” right now, and how does 1 Corinthians 2:1-5 speak into that?
- Paul chose to know “Jesus Christ and him crucified” among the Corinthians. What would it look like for you to make the cross central in your area of ministry?
- How does the story of the boy with the loaves and fish encourage you about offering your “little” to Jesus? What might your “five loaves and two fish” be?
- Think about the disciples fishing all night with no results until Jesus spoke. Where might you be relying more on effort and experience than on listening to Jesus?
- In what ways does our church culture sometimes prize eloquence, talent, or charisma more than dependence on the Spirit? How can we lovingly correct that?
- Paul says our faith should not rest on human wisdom but on the power of God. What are some signs that a church or small group is drifting toward trusting “human wisdom”?
- “We have the mind of Christ” sounds like a huge promise. What practices (prayer, Scripture, confession, community) help you actually live as someone who has the mind of Christ?
- Who is one “ordinary” believer God has used powerfully in your life, and what do they teach you about how God uses weak people for His glory?
