\nAs our society and culture become increasingly hostile toward Christianity and Christian values,
\nthere are some spiritual qualities that become especially important. There are five in particular
\nwe can\u2019t survive without. They\u2019re important no matter what the situation. But in a Babylon-like
\nenvironment, they become absolutely essential.<\/p>\n

\nThis week a new verse you should memorize. Write down James 1:2-4 on a 3 x 5 card, then keep
\nit with you in an obvious place (purse, wallet, car, mirror). Read and memorize it when life feels
\nout of control.
\n2 Consider it a great joy, my brothers, whenever you experience various trials, 3 knowing that
\nthe testing of your faith produces endurance. 4 But endurance must do its complete work, so that
\nyou may be mature and complete, lacking nothing. (Jam. 1:2-4)<\/p>\n
