HAS THE GRINCH STOLEN YOUR\u00a0CHRISTMAS<\/a>?<\/strong><\/p>\n

And the angel said to them, \u201cDo not be afraid; for behold,\u00a0I bring you good news of a great joy which shall be for all the people<\/strong>; for today in the city of David there\u00a0<\/em>has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.\u201d\u00a0<\/em>
\nLuke 2:10-11<\/a><\/p>\n

Without a doubt, Christmas is to be a time of GREAT JOY. \u00a0On that first Christmas night, the angel announced to the shepherds \u201cgood news of a great joy.\u201d \u00a0The Savior has come!! \u00a0WOW!! \u00a0Those shepherds were so excited. \u00a0That announcement changed their lives forever. \u00a0They were filled with joy and wonder and praise.<\/p>\n

At Christmas time, are you filled with joy and wonder and praise?<\/strong>\u00a0 Or has the devil, the original Grinch, the thief who comes only to steal and kill and destroy, stolen those things from you? \u00a0If so, there is still time to get it back!<\/p>\n

Think about the angel\u2019s announcement,\u00a0\u201cThere has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.\u201d\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0What does that really mean for you and me?<\/p>\n

1.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0The Savior has come to save you from a dark past<\/strong>. \u00a0So many people are suffering with intense guilt over bad things they have done in the past. \u00a0The devil beats them to death with shame and guilt. \u00a0But be beaten no longer! \u00a0All the terrible, horrible things you have done are no match for the Savior\u2019s blood that He shed for you on the cross. \u00a0The moment you confess those sins to God and repent of them, you are forgiven!! \u00a0Remember what the Savior said to Peter,\u00a0\u201cWhat God has cleansed, no longer consider unholy\u201d<\/em>\u00a0(Acts 10:15<\/a>).<\/p>\n

2. \u00a0The Savior has come to save you from an empty present<\/strong>. \u00a0Many people are surviving and not really living. \u00a0Jesus came at Christmas not to fill your empty stocking, but to fill your empty life! \u00a0He has a purpose and a plan for you. \u00a0Come to Him. \u00a0Surrender to Him. \u00a0Let Him lead you. \u00a0He wants to bring you joy and peace, regardless of your circumstances. \u00a0He wants to use your life to make a difference in others, a difference that will last for all eternity. \u00a0It makes life worth living to know that everyday is an exciting adventure with the Lord, an opportunity to touch another person with the love and joy of Jesus.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

3. \u00a0The Savior has come to save you from a hopeless future<\/strong>. \u00a0Everyone without God is without hope. \u00a0No one comes to the Father without the Savior, Jesus Christ. \u00a0But now He has come, and we can really know Him personally, and we can be assured of His presence and provision while we live \u2026 and His heaven when we die. \u00a0Paul said,\u00a0\u201cThings which eye has not seen and ear has not heard, and which have not entered the heart of man, all that God has prepared for those who love Him\u201d<\/em>\u00a0(1 Cor. 2:9<\/a>). \u00a0WOW! \u00a0What a future is in store for the child of God!<\/p>\n

My friend, do not let the devil steal from you and your Christmas time any longer! \u00a0The Savior has come, and He has come for you! \u00a0Receive the good news and rejoice in the truth!<\/p>\n
