- Read 1 Corinthians 1:1–3. What surprises you about the way Paul describes this church, given all the problems they had?
- In what ways do you see “messiness” in the modern church or in your own life? How does it encourage you that God still calls messy people to be “saints”?
- Paul says the Corinthians were “enriched in everything” and lacked no spiritual gift. Where have you seen churches or believers be “gifted but messy,” and what can we learn from that?
- How has God’s grace worked in your life recently—not just to forgive you, but to equip and strengthen you for service?
- Read 1 Corinthians 1:8–9. What do these verses say about God’s role and our role in staying faithful to the end?
- When you think about your own failures, what does it mean to you that God is faithful to finish what he starts? How does that change the way you respond when you sin or fall short?
- Where do you see “division” or relational fracture in your own relationships or church experience (1 Corinthians 1:10)? How might remembering God’s faithfulness and grace help bring healing?
- What is one concrete step you can take this week to cooperate with God’s faithful work in you—whether in dealing with sin, using your gifts, or pursuing unity in the body?
